60-day Social Media Detox
Pause, breathe, clear your mind and proceed.
@brightbluebug took a 60-day social media detox from our social media accounts.
Yes, that’s right. Sometimes you have to take a step back and disconnect to feel relaxed, refreshed and reconnect, given the current situation. As a nod to Mental Health Week (May 3-9) in Canada, the cleanse was necessary for my health and well-being.
🏡 Our one-year adventure in BC has a taken us to a new home - lots of packing and unpacking, enjoyed every moment of this move. The average Canadian will move anywhere from 5-6 times in their lifetime. I think I’m getting there. Nevertheless, we’re finally settling in and turning our home into our own paradise.
💫 Despite the inevitable FOMO or fear of missing out on my social media presence, the nature of my day job and its demands reached new heights since the onset of the pandemic. Attaining a work-life balance is blurry when you work from home and the burn out is real. So, what do I do? I set boundaries, give myself breaks and even joke about having a remote water-cooler break. And fresh air, hence the move.
🥰 Finally, my own, precious @brightbluebug turned 31 months in April and lots of success stories to share - potty trained, moving onto preschool and another happy adjustment to our new home! I’m a proud Amma!
Despite the social 'media' distance over the last while, a huge huge thank you to everybody who has continued to support my small business! I’m so excited to share more of my life stories, upcoming promotions and sneak peaks of my collection!
Thank you, everyone ❤️
